Well Block
Well block is also well known as seating blocks. It’s used at the bottom of Oxygen converter, Electric Arc Furnace, steel ladles and tundish.
Well block usually has two types: well blocks for purging plugs and well blocks for nozzles. Among well blocks for nozzles, there are well blocks for slide gate set and tundish well blocks for tundish nozzles.
The main materials of well blocks are chromium-corundum and corundum-spinel.
