Fired Mag Bricks
Long Keter supplying a comprehensive range of FIRED MAG BRICKS. The fired magnesia brick has high load softening temperature and strong resistance to alkaline slag erosion. The fired magnesia bricks are mainly used for the lining of basic open hearth, wall and bottom of electric furnace, permanent lining of oxygen converter, mixer, non-ferrous smelting furnace, high temperature tunnel kiln, lining of rotary kiln for calcining magnesia and cement, upper lattice bricks of glass melting furnace, bottom and end of steel rolling soaking furnace and heating furnace.
Features
•High refractoriness, usually the refractoriness is above 2000°C. •Refractoriness under load about 1500-1550°C because of poor high-temperature intensity.
•Strong ability to resist basic (alkaline) slag, can not contact with acid refractory material.
•Poor Thermal shock resistance, so keep the temperature of furnace stabilized.
•Poor Volume stability at high temperature, must set aside appropriate expansion joint when laying brick.
•Strong ability of thermal conductivity, sometime need insulating material.
•Hydrability, keep product away from moisture during storage.
Mag Chrome Bricks
